Surber Stream Bottom Sampler Captures Benthic Invertebrates
Classic quantitative Surber Stream Bottom Sampler samples for benthic invertebrates in shallow streams. Sampler consists of a 12" x 12" folding brass frame with locking brace latches and a standard size net measuring 9" dia. x 24"L. Rugged Nitex® nylon net is 600μm monofilament. Includes carrying case.
Optional 6"L Base Extension (No. 101123), sold separately, attaches to the bottom of the frame and allows the operator to minimize lateral movement of organisms outside of the sampling area.
