Bottom Grab Sampler Performs Well in Soft, Clean Bottoms
The all-stainless steel EKMAN Bottom Grab Sampler works great when sampling in soft, finely divided bottoms that are free from vegetation and other coarse debris. Features machined jaws and hinged overlapping lids that open easily during descent to let water pass through and close during retrieval to reduce sample wash-out. The patented two-pin release mechanism has few moving parts and is very reliable. Constructed of Type 316 stainless steel, including the springs, cables and fasteners. Sampler measures 6" x 6" x 6" (216 cu. in.).
