High Resolution and Advanced Optics Draw Professionals to These Microscopes

Ergonimically designed Professional Compound Microscopes feature advanced optics, 10X widefield eyepieces and five-objective nosepieces, 1.25 N.A. Abbe condensers, coaxial ultra-low focusing controls, mechanical stages with drop-down X-Y controls and 20W/6V variable quartz halogen illumination. Choose from achromatic or plan-achromatic infinity-corrected objectives (DIN), Binocular or Trinocular heads and Brightfield or Phase Contrast objectives. All models feature 4X, 10X 40X and 100X (oil) magnification.
Brightfield
models use the most common illumination technique that directs light through the sample and then to the eye of the viewer. Staining may be required to see samples in some cases. Choose from Binocular Achromatic, Binocular Plan-Achromatic, Trinocular Achromatic and Trinocular Plan-Achromatic.
Phase Contrast models offer special lighting configurations that induce contrast without staining. Especially useful in wine making, biotech and biological applications and asbestos testing. Choose from Binocular Plan-Achromatic and Trinocular Plan-Achromatic.
The Fluorescence Trinocular Plan-Achromatic model is used with materials that can be made to fluoresce with a UV light source, specimens that are fairly transparent such as those found in wastewater applications. This model is popular because it offers all three illumination techniques.
