Protect Against Poison Oak, Ivy and Sumac
Poison oak, ivy and sumac emit a poisonous, oily irritant called urushiol. This chemical locks onto unprotected skin within 20 minutes of exposure, erupting in a rash within 12–72 hours.
Use the Skin Cleansers within 2–8 hours to remove poisonous oil before rash begins. Stop oils from spreading and allow natural healing to begin if a rash has developed—remove urushiol from clothing and tools, too! Can also be used for routine skin cleansing. Not a remedy for itching once the reaction has started.
