Rounded bail design is easier to use and with cylinder modifications it will hold more soil than standard augers. Made of high carbon steel bits with tungsten carbide hard surface edges, stainless steel cylinder and a carbon steel bail. Use Regular Auger for ordinary soil sampling. Four sizes available. Laser-cut, open design of Mud Auger is designed for easy removal of heavy, wet or clay soils. Four sizes available. The Sand Auger is recommended for extremely dry, sandy soils.
