A biodegradable fabric with an open design expands when wet, then slowly releases the moisture back to the seeds for germination. The blankets allow air circulation to control surface temperature fluctuations and break up rain drops to stop erosion. Blankets are held together by a photodegradable plastic mesh that lasts 30-60 days.
