AMS Split Core Sampler

Split core samplers are designed with a vertically split cylinder that allows you to easily separate the core body, prevents breakage of core samples and allows efficient removal of sample liners. The sampler can be used to collect cores without liners for immediate examination or with liners to obtain an undisturbed, sealed sample. The split core sampler is a versatile tool for a variety of sampling requirements. The sampler with auger tip can be used for conventional hand augering to obtain samples in stiffer material, while the optional butterfly valve can be used to seal the sampler when taking samples of sludge or other viscous materials. You can also extend the length of your sampler by joining two split bodies with the optional coupler. Sampler disassembles quickly for cleaning and decontamination.
