SOLINST® Peristaltic Pump

This 12-volt DC operated peristaltic pump is a portable, compact system to sample liquids and gases. Ideal for shallow wells, surface water, or small diameter piezometers. Water samples can be removed from as deep as 33 feet (at sea level). This field-tough pump has a variable pumping rate and can deliver from 40 mL/min. in the sample mode to as much as 3.5 L/min. in the purge mode. The variable speed motor is reversible and equipped with a 10-amp internal fuse and blocking-type reverse polarity protection. It comes in a durable, water-resistant metal case that is lightweight with easy-access controls on the top.

The standard pump tubing is 5/8" x 3/8" silicon that attaches easily to 1/2" x 3/8" down well LDPE tubing. The water sample comes in contact only with the tubing, which is easy to clean or replace. Changing the inexpensive tubing between wells protects the integrity of the sample. An optional tubing adapter kit allows the use of 3/8" x 1/4" silicon tubing, suitable for 1/4" down well LDPE tubing.
