Quantum Meters
Measure Photosynthetic Photon FluxPhotosynthetic photon flux (PPF) helps you measure the radiation that causes photosynthesis. If you’re a grower or a scientist, a Quantum Meter can give you the data you need to optimize plant growth. Each Meter stores up to 99 manually recorded measurements. In automatic mode, measurements are made every 30 seconds and averages are stored every 30 minutes. Daily totals are also calculated and the past 99 days are recorded. Meters use an innovative blue lens for improved spectral response. They also feature a cosine-corrected head, self-cleaning characteristics and long-term stability. Full sunlight is equivalent to 2000µmol m–2s–1, so Meters offer a measurement range of 0–3000µmol m–2s–1. Spectral resposivity is 360–670nm. Use is environments of 0–50°C; less than 90%RH (noncondensing) up to 30°C; less than 70%RH from 30°–50°C. Each Meter includes a 3V coin cell battery. Choose Integral Sensor Meter or Separate Sensor Meter, which includes 2m of shielded, twisted-pair wire with Santoprene casing and pigtail leads.
