Systemic Tree Care

Environmentally safe with no chemicals to measure, mix or spray. There is no container disposal and minimal applicator exposure. Micro-encapsulated implants work systemically inside the tree. Once inserted into pre-drilled holes, the implants remain in the tree.

ACECAP 97® INSECTICIDE IMPLANTS

Each capsule contains Orthene®, a broad spectrum insect control with reduced hazard to humans, wildlife and the environment. Ideal for use in areas where pesticide sprays are not permitted. Cartridge is hammered into a drilled hole at the base of the tree. Use for treatment against budworms, cankerworms, gypsy moth larvae, mapleworms, pine whiteflies and many other destructive insects. Protects up to 3 months. Active ingredient: Acephate. Cartridge diameter 3/8 ". For mature trees only.

MEDICAP MD ® NUTRIENT IMPLANTS

Contains a special formulation of highly water soluble nutrients designed to stimulate tree growth. Insert into tree just like the Acecap capsules. Contain nitrogen compounds, iron, manganese and zinc. Especially helpful for trees with confined root areas, mechanical root injury, poor soil conditions, disease, pollution or frost damage. Cartridge diameter 3/8 ". For mature trees only. Priced per box of 25.
