Measure rainfall and temperature with one system.
Self-contained, battery-powered rainfall data collection and recording systems integrate a HOBO Pendant Event datalogger into a tipping-bucket rain gauge. For each 0.01" (0.2mm for Metric unit) of rainfall, a time and date stamp is stored for detailed analysis. The unit can also record temperature when used with an optional Radiation Shield.
The top is removable for easy data offloading. Three legs provide a stable base for the unit. The aluminum housing and collector ring and the stainless steel shaft and brass bearings are all designed to resist corrosion. The tipping bucket is high-impact ABS plastic.
Optic USB Base Station with Coupler (138631) offloads a full 64K Gauge in 30 seconds and is splash-resistant.
HOBOware™ Software (125181) is compatible with Windows® and is required for logger launch, data downloading and data viewing. Use the
Waterproof Shuttle (138619) to readout and relaunch Gauges in the field.
Shuttle Coupler for Pendant Logger is required to attach the Waterproof Shuttle to the Datalogging Rain Gauge.
Includes Pendant Event Logger. Datalogging Rain Gauges require HOBOware Software and either the Optic USB Base Station with Coupler or Waterproof Shuttle for use.
