Sedgewick Rafter Counting Cells

Grid, no grid—it’s up to you!Count larger zooplankton the easy way. Micro-organisms in the 400–1000µm range can be counted by extrapolating their number in a portion of the cell—no need to count what’s in the entire cell. This saves you time in the lab.
Counting Cells, available Gridded or Plain, consist of a 1"W x 3"L glass slide mounted inside a brass frame. A drawn chrome-on-glass, millimeter-square grid divides the slide into sections that each hold 1µL of water. Chambers include two Glass Cover Plates and a plastic case. Requires the use of a standard or inverted compound microscope. Extra Glass Cover Plates are available separately.
Compliance: Cells meet APHA and Standard Methods specifications for quantifying micro-organisms.
