Weighs Less—Requires Only 7 Gallons of Solution
Most gravity-fed eye washes need at least 14 gal. of solution to meet ANSI’s 15-min. flushing requirement. This unit needs only 7 gal. (including preservative) to flush constantly for more than 15 min. at 0.42 gpm. And it weighs only 60 lbs. filled, compared to standard units that weigh 120 lbs. or more. Available with a heater jacket for freeze protection.
Patented, two-component base-and-tank design has spray head assembly and mini-reservoir in the base, and flushing solution in the tank. Mini-reservoir has a gasket and air vent to tightly seal upper tank to lower assembly and prevents tampering of solution. Yellow, see-through polycarbonate tank makes fluid level and cleanliness easy to check. Side straps secure tank to base. Built-in carry handles on each side. Tank liner is punctured when placed on base, and solution enters the reservoir. Pulling down the eye wash tray opens the supply tube and releases fluid to the spray heads. Put unit on any flat surface or wall mount using the included bracket. Tank is 12"H x 22"W x 9"D. Base is 13-1/2"H x 22"W x 18-1/2"D.
Yellow, insulated Heater Jacket is 200-denier foam-backed nylon with 121W tank heater and 60W tube heater made of silicone rubber with PSA adhesive backing. Maintains water at an average 75°F in weather conditions to –20°F. Secondary thermostat with automatic shutoff prevents overheating. Indicator lights: green for power; amber for operation; red for malfunction. Standard 120V AC power cord. Heater Jacket Retrofit Kiti lets you add freeze protection to No. 122175.
Move unit easily as separate sections or as a single unit using Transport/Waste Cart. Cart has rigid front casters and locking swivel back casters. Collects up to 56 gal. of waste fluid. Tapered 1/2" valve allows easy draining. Cart is 33"H x 22-1/2"W x 29-3/4"L. Refill Kit includes 8-oz. bottle of water preservative, cap and three pierceable liners.
