HOBO® Water Temp Pro v2 Logger
Ever wrap a logger in cellophane or try to seal it in a zippered sandwich bag only to find out it leaked or static electricity fried the circuit board? We have. But not anymore! HOBO is the name for dataloggers for the outdoors, so now you can just drop it in the water and you’re ready to go.
The durable Water Temp Pro v2 Logger uses 12-bit resolution and a precision sensor to give you great data results over a wide temperature range. It offers easy data download—even when wet—through the Optic USB Base Station and is also compatible with the HOBO Waterproof Shuttle and HOBO U-Shuttle. Readout takes less than 30 seconds!
The unit’s streamlined case is built for extended deployment in fresh water or saltwater. The sampling interval is user selectable from one second to 18 hours. Logger includes a factory-replaceable 3.6V lithium battery that lasts up to six years.
HOBOware™ Software is compatible with Windows® and is required for logger launch, data downloading and data viewing. Optic USB Base Station offloads a full 64K unit in less than 30 seconds and is splash-resistant. Waterproof Shuttle can be used to readout and relaunch the Logger in the field. Another readout/relaunch option is the U-Shuttle, which features a two-line, 16-character display and nonvolatile Flash memory that stores up to 4 MB of data. Black Protective Boot is constructed of a thermoplastic elastomer and adds protection in particularly harsh conditions.
Water Temp Pro v2 Logger requires the Optic USB Base Station and HOBOware Software for use. The Waterproof Shuttle or U-Shuttle can be used for in-field data collection in place of the Optic USB Base Station.
