SOLINST® Waterloo Drive-Point Piezometers

If you need to sample ground water in loose sand, silt or soft clay...then this piezometer is an excellent alternative to expensive and disruptive well drilling. The piezometer is easily installed using just two people and a portable hammer with a 7/8" chuck. Samples can be taken as deep as 65 feet depending on the soil conditions. The 1 ft. stainless steel tip contains a 150µ stainless steel filter for water sampling. A special barbed fitting at the top of the tip allows attachment of the sample tubing. Extensions are then attached to reach the necessary sample depth. To insure sample integrity, the first extension should be constructed of stainless steel. A reusable drive head assembly is required to hammer the point and extensions into the ground. It will fit directly into a 7/8" chuck on the portable hammer drill.
