YSI® Model 85 Salinity, Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen & Temperature System

A new multi-parameter probe provides simultaneous measurement of temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO), conductivity and salinity. The Model 85 automatically compensates all readings for temperature and will compensate DO readings for salinity up to 2.5 times greater than sea water. No need for separate meters to record accurate DO measurements in salt or brackish water.

Unique features of this hand held unit include data storage of up to 50 readings with ID stamp, waterproof construction and simple one button controls. A large, backlit display simultaneously displays temperature along with one of the following parameters: DO, conductivity or salinity. For advanced users, an adjustable conductivity reference temperature and compensation factor can be used, as well as user defined equations for determining salinity.

Unit comes complete with your choice of 10 ft., 25 ft. or 50 ft. cables with combination probe, 6 cap membranes, DO fill solution and instruction manual. Power is supplied by 6 “AA” batteries, also included. For easier transport, choose the Pelican® waterproof carrying case sold separately.
