Wildco® Surber Stream Sampler

Classic quantitative stream bottom sampler for benthic invertebrates. Recommended for sampling in shallow streams, the sampler consists of a 12" x 12" folding brass frame with locking brace latches and a standard size net measuring 9" in diameter and 24" long. Nets are available in rugged Nitex® nylon in four mesh sizes. A new multifilament nylon fabric that is durable and softer is also available in a 900 µm mesh only. All samplers include carrying case. Optional base extensions attach to the bottom of the frame and allow the operator to minimize lateral movement of organisms outside of the sampling area.
