ADVANTAGE™ Laser

The Advantage rangefinder uses a certified Class 1 Eyesafe laser to measure distances up to 32,000 feet with incredible accuracy. Menu driven display guides the operator through a complete set of user defined options. For complete rough surveying and mapping, the Advantage CI model includes an integrated three axis magnetometer compass and inclinometer to determine range, bearing, inclination and missing line heights. The CI model is useful for measuring tree heights, calculating slope distance, determining areas and computing horizontal and vertical angles.

The self contained unit features a water resistant body, an RS-232 port with remote capabilities, PCMCIA type II interface slot and (2) 8 hour rechargeable NiCad removable battery handles.The battery handles will have Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMh) cells. These provide 50% longer operating time. Another battery handle feature is a 1/4"-20 camera tripod connection in the bottom of the handle. Both ranging models are compatible with many PC mapping programs, and are designed to interface with most GPS units and data recorders.
