The LP30 is a high-grade planer offering superior accuracy and a wide measuring range. This model uses Sokkia’s precision pendulum compensator to ensure horizontal accuracy. This unique compensator is activated by gravity and unaffected by temperature. The air damping system ensures laser beam stability even in locations subject to vibrations.

To Operate: Simply place the Planer on a tripod or level arm and set it to approximate level. The built-in compensator then automatically sets the horizontal plane and the laser rotor starts revolving immediately. If the unit is tilted or jarred beyond its self-leveling range, the rotation and laser beam stop automatically and a warning lamp flashes. Water-resistant unit is protected from splash water from any direction in compliance with IPX4 (IEC60529).
