Advanced digital technology and a high-speed clock are used to instantaneously calculate distances by measuring the time it takes for each pulse to travel from the rangefinder and back. Digital technology allows the device to be compact without sacrificing ranging performance and accuracy, and automatically provides distance through rain and enhances distance to reflective objects. Units feature a multi-function, in-view liquid Crystal Display (LCD) that is mounted within the optical system while simultaneously viewing the target displays: reticle for targeting, yard/meters mode designations and low battery indicators.
