Advanced digital technology and a high-speed clock are used to instantaneously calculate distances by measuring the time it takes for each pulse to travel from the rangefinder and back. Digital technology allows the device to be compact without sacrificing ranging performance and accuracy, and automatically provides distance through rain and enhances distance to reflective objects.

Units feature a multi-function, in-view liquid Crystal Display (LCD) that is mounted within the optical system while simultaneously viewing the target displays: reticle for targeting, yard/meters mode designations and low battery indicators. See chart specifications.

The Sport 600 and Legend 1200 have ARC (angle range compensation) for accurate steep-terrain measurements as well as true range for archers and hunters. The Legend 1200 also has a rainguard lens coating that helps prevent water/rain build-up on the lens. Compliance: Class I laser, classified by the FDA.
