With a built-in inclinometer, the LaserAce 300 quickly measures height as well as distance.
This innovative, multi-function
Laser Rangefinder lets you calculate
heights as well as
distances, making it ideal for
forestry and
surveying. Also calculates horizontal distances. The back-lit LCD displays distance and inclination together. Compact but powerful, the instrument can either be hand-held or mounted on a threaded pole or camera tripod.
To operate, simply look through the sighting lens, align the red dot on the target and push a button to emit eye-safe laser pulses to the target. A beep tells you when the target has been accurately measured (less than 1 sec.). You can measure range and inclination or calculate distances and heights between two or more successive points.
With the optional digital compass attached, the LCD displays the magnetic compass bearing or horizontal angle to your target. The horizontal distance to an object and the height difference from the instrument center is also available at the press of a button. The compass is a digital, three-axis fluxgate device that compensates for any pitch and roll of the instrument. It runs off the same batteries that operate the Rangefinder.
Runs on two AA batteries (included). Measures 6-7/8"H x 4-3/16"W x 2-7/32"D. Has RS-232 output port for downloading data into your portable or hand-held data collector. Range: up to 328 yd. (300m); up to 3 mi. with optional reflectors (5,000m). Accuracy: 10cm; Resolution: 1cm.
Optional Compass accuracy: 0.4°; Compass resolution: 0.1°. Comes with heavy-duty carrying case.
Dimensions: 6-7/8" x 4-3/16" x 2-7/32".
