Jet Fill Tensiometers

The Jet Fill Tensiometer gives precise continuous measurement of soil moisture conditions. Each tensiometer is constructed of clear plastic with a rigid, heavy walled design for accurate readings at high suction values, and is resistant to damage by sun and soil conditions. The replaceable ceramic tip has 10 times the water conductivity of other units, for higher sensitivity. For easy field maintenance, the unique Jet Fill water reservoir injects water into the body of the tensiometer and removes air with no disturbance.

Each unit features a large 2-inch vacuum dial with a hermetically sealed neoprene jacket to protect against weather and shock, and a rear vent screw to compensate for altitude variations. Time proven "O" ring seals assure leakproof joints and allow the dial gauge to be turned in any position. For research work, the gauge also allows for adjustment of zero point setting and compensation of water table reference tables.
