Be prepared for whatever the outdoors throws at you. The MicroFix is the lightest, smallest Personal Locator Beacon available. It attaches easily to clothing or equipment to give you peace of mind in the field. To activate it, you just deploy the antenna and press the "on" button when you have a clear view of the sky.

To use your Personal Locator Beacon, you must first register online with your relevant information—it’s fast and free. When activated, the unit transmits on 406 MHz via the COSPAS-SARSAT satellite system and on 121.5 MHz, the SAR local homing frequency. The onboard GPS acquires your location when activated to give rescue agencies your position to within 110 yds. (100m). Lanyard and removable holster add versatility and allow multiple mounting options. Unit transmits for more than 24 hours at –4°F (–20°C) using two lithium battery packs and floats if dropped in water. Measures 5.85"H x 2.21"W x 1.4"D and weighs just 10.6 oz. with lanyard.
