5010 and 5009 GEO™ Transits

• Two-position, adjustable needle-locking mechanism.

Unlocked position releases the needle for azimuth readings. Locked position momentarily releases the needle for strike measurements. Sapphire jewel bearing allows for smooth needle movement. Hinge inclinometer with 2° increments for 1° readable dip measurements. Two long-level bubbles on the outside for no-guess leveling from the sides or bottom. Aluminum billet body assembly makes GEO indestructible. O-rings waterproof unit for increased reliability.

"Buck Horn" style sights deliver increased accuracy when sighting azimuth or vertical angles. Azimuth accuracy: ±1/2° with 1° graduations. Vertical angle accuracy: ±1/2° with 1° graduations and 10-min. readability. Vertical angle measurements to ±90° or 100% grade (percent grade scale in 5% increments).

Both models include a durable leather carrying case.
