Hydrometers

Choose from a Baumé scale, salt or specific gravity (liquids heavier than water). Salt version is excellent for food, beverage and other testing. Temperature standard is 60°F. Virtually unbreakable polycarbonate has glass-like clarity--and the same accuracy as glass. Not autoclavable. Polymethylpentene Hydrometer Jar has superior chemical resistance and a broad base for stability. Upper temperature limit of 135°C (243°F).

Hydrometers are calibrated against NIST standards.
