Series 1400 Professional Compound Microscopes

Ergonomic design and advanced optics. All models feature 20W variable quartz halogen illumination. Brightfield models use the most common illumination technique that directs light through the sample and then to the eye of the viewer. Staining may be required to see samples in some cases.
The special lighting configurations of Phase Contrast models induces contrast without staining, especially useful in wine making, biotech and biological applications and asbestos testing.
Fluorescence models are used with materials that can be made to fluoresce with a UV light source, specimens that are fairly transparent such as those found in waste water applications. These models are popular because they have all three illumination techniques available. |
