These two grades of filter paper come in a variety of diameters and deliver the purity and consistent performance of more sophisticated analytical grades.

For medium retention and flow rate, Grade 1 (11µm) filters--clarification of liquids, soil analysis, seed testing procedures and air pollution monitoring. Grade 4 (20-25µm) filters offer extremely fast filtration with excellent retention of coarse particles and gelatinous precipitates--ferric hydroxide and aluminum hydroxide.
