Ways to Search:
By product category.
Looking for safety glasses? Or drums? Or gloves? Simply type in the category of products you're looking for and you'll get a list of all of the styles, brands, colors, etc., we sell.
By brand name.
Know you want Uvex? Or Rubbermaid? Or DeWalt? Type in the brand name and you'll find the items from that manufacturer.
By Benmeadows part number.
Maybe you're working from an old purchase order, and all you have in front of you is part numbers. Don't worry! We can search on any Benmeadows part number. (Example: 6JB-39469)
By manufacturer part number.
Again, just key in the manufacturer's part number and we'll cross reference the data for you.
By keywords.
Keyword searching is the most common type of searching, but is also the least specific. On this type of search, the engine will return results containing at least one occurence of at least one of the keywords you enter.
Other Tips for a Successful Search:
• Search is not case-sensitive. Don't worry about capital letters. They're not needed.
• Check your spelling. A typo or transposed number won't give you the results you're looking for.
• If you have trouble finding an item, call us at 1-800-241-6401 and we'll find it for you.
• If you get too few choices in the search results, try broadening your search. For example, if you search for poncho and don't find enough matches, try keying in rainwear or rain jacket.
• Search will treat anything separated by spaces as distinct words, eye wear will return different search results than eyewear.
• Words such as a, an, and, as, etc., are ignored during a search
• Punctuation marks such as the period (.), colon (:), semicolon (;), and comma (,) are ignored during a search. To use specially-treated characters ( (&), (|), (^), (#), (@), ($), ((), ()) ) in a query, enclose your query in quotes (").
• When searching by item number, enter the item number only. Do not include a leading pound sign. For example, enter 3BB-99133 and not #99133.
