HAGLOF Barktax Bark Gauge

A quick and easy method of testing the bark thickness, necessary accessory for accurate cruising and scaling measurements. When pressed against the bark, the scale recedes into the handle and the borer cuts out a core of the bark. Thickness can be read on the scale from 0 to 2" in 1/10" increments. 5-1/4" aluminum gauge features a recessed steel tip and an ergonomic ABS plastic handle.
