"Blume-Leiss" Altimeter

Ideal for finding accurate tree heights. The height of the target can be read directly on the instrument scales. This altimeter features percent/degree conversions and degree/slope correction factors on the back of the instrument. Baseline differences are in 15, 20, 30, and 40 meters. Both models also work as a clinometer with degree readings from -30° to 60°.

MODEL BL6 WITH BUILT-IN RANGEFINDER AND TARGET The double pendulum feature allows you to lock in both up and down measurements. After scanning desired area up, press and release the top button to lock this position on scale, then scan down and lock this position on the scale with the down button. Both measurements can then be recorded directly from the scale. Includes carrying case.

MODEL BL7 WITHOUT BUILT-IN RANGEFINDER AND TARGET Has a single pendulum indicator allowing ease of operation in a simpler construction. Includes carrying case. Baseline distance must be determined with a measuring tape or rangefinder.
