Model 101 Water Level Meter Meets the Industry Standard for Groundwater Monitoring
For measuring the depth of water in wells, boreholes and standpipes, Model 101 Water Level Meter is the most accurate and reliable. Sturdy, easy to repair and read to 1/100' or 1mm. Meter is powered by a 9V battery housed in an easy-access battery drawer.
Uses a probe—attached to 3/8"W (10mm) polyethylene tape—fitted on a well-balanced reel. Conductors are embedded within the tape, each with seven strands of stainless steel for strength and flexibility. Nonstretch, corrosion-resistant tapes are very easy to repair and splice. High-quality tape reels in smoothly, remains flexible and hangs straight in the well regardless of temperature. Dog-bone design reduces adherence to wet surfaces. Markings are permanently impregnated onto one side of the tape.
Probe incorporates an insulating gap between electrodes. When contact is made with water, the circuit is completed, which activates a loud buzzer and light. P2 Stainless Steel Probe is 1/2" dia. x 7-1/2"L and is easy to repair and replace. Measures 500'L. Includes a tape guide and 9V battery.
