Made of high carbon steel bits with tungsten carbide hard surface edges, stainless steel cylinder and a carbon steel bail. Open-Faced Auger has been extensively tested by AMS and is a great choice. It pulls itself into the ground better than other augers. Constructed of 10-ga. carbon steel, so it’s substantially stronger.
