This ceramic cup Shallow-Sampling Lysimeter is excellent for vadose zone monitoring. The two-line, soil pore water collection device is designed for permanent installation 20' beneath the ground surface. Use with Vacuum Pressure Pump, No. 220695, sold separately. The vacuum is pulled and the vadose water flows into the ceramic cup. The pressure line is then used to push the sample to the surface. Ceramic cup features pore size of 0.446μm. 400mL sampling capacity. Measures 1.9" O.D. x 17.5"L.
