ColiQuant EZ Kit Helps You Teach Testing the Easy Way

Open up the world of water testing to your students with the LaMotte ColiQuant EZ Kit. Ponds, streams, rivers, lakes, ocean water and tap water are all fair game! Patented combination of color-producing nutrients and enzymes marks coliforms a purple-blue color and E. coli a pink color. Other noncoliform bacteria remain colorless. No need for an autoclave, water bath or balance!
For use on sample sizes of 1–5mL. Collect the sample with a sterile syringe and add it directly into a bottle of Coliscan® Easygel® gel, swirl it and pour it into a pretreated Petri dish. Under warm conditions, you get results in 24 hours. Kit includes enough materials for 10 tests.
