Two Sole Styles—Both Deliver Optimum Chain Saw Protection

One of our Product Pros, Paul, has always understood the need to wear chaps while cutting with a chain saw, but he experienced first hand why OSHA rewrote the logging standard to include cut-resistant footwear. While helping carry out a timber stand improvement project he managed to cut through the top of his boot. Thankfully he missed his foot and toes—but ever since he has been a big believer in always wearing the appropriate safety gear. These Boots feature ballistic nylon cut protection and lace-up rubber debris collar. Reinforced Achilles tendon, ankle and metatarsal areas for greater protection. Heavy-duty cotton canvas lining with air-cushioned heel pockets. Caulked Sole Boots have steel shank; Lug Sole Boots have steel sole. Both styles feature special-grade nylon chain saw resistance and reflective tape safety striping.

Lug Sole style features oil-resistant nitrile, self-cleaning soles.

Caulked Sole features metal studs that can be removed and replaced for better traction.
