Astro® 220 GPS Receiver and Collar is the Smart Choice for Search and Rescue

Like any GPS receiver, the Astro Receiver lets you navigate through rough terrain. Unlike other GPS receivers, this one lets you keep track of your SAR dogs. Tall grass and dense cover won’t hide your dogs anymore. This unit shows you exactly where your canine rescue pals are, even when you can’t see or hear them. Track up to 10 dogs at once!
Astro 220 GPS Receiver (No. 160699) stores up to 1000 waypoints with name and graphic symbol; 50 reversible routes with up to 250 points each; 10K automatic track log; and 20 saved tracks with 500 points each. The 12-channel SiRFstar III™ high-sensitivity GPS receiver continually tracks and updates your position. Altimeter feature has a range of –2000' to 30,000'. Includes a belt clip, USB cable, MapSource® Trip and Waypoint Manager CD, user manual, quick reference guide and wrist strap. Unit measures 6-1/4"H x 2-1/4"W x 1-1/4"D.

DC30 Transmitter Collar (No. 160700) is weighted so the unit rides protected under the dog’s neck while keeping the GPS antenna pointing toward the sky. Dog position updates every five, 10 or 30 seconds. Range of up to seven miles, depending on terrain. Battery life is 17–36 hours. Includes collar, AC adaptor, vehicle power cable, quick-start manual and rechargeable Li-ion batteries.
