This 5'L Animal Control Snare combines automatic loop recoil (if you miss your catch), a cable brake that secures the cable to allow you the use of both hands to control the animal and a loop release for easy snare extraction once the animal is boxed or caged. The cable is 3/16" vinyl-coated galvanized steel. It won’t abrade an animal’s neck the way thinner cables do. It comes with a replaceable "woolie" at the head of the unit to protect the animal’s teeth if it bites the cable and the back of the animal’s neck if it jerks or moves around. You never have to have your hands close to the animal’s head while catching or releasing! Use it on any small animals, from dogs and cats to calves and goats.
