AMS Extendible Tile Probes

Choose from One-Piece or Extendible Style Tile Probes

AMS Tile Probes are ideal for locating buried pipes, underground tanks or utility lines.

One-Piece Tile Probes are 3/8"-dia. stressproof, high-carbon steel. The rod on each Probe has a ball end for clearance.

Extendible Tile Probe is 7/16"-dia. stressproof carbon steel and has a 4'L base with pointed end and a 9"L threaded cross handle.

Extensions are connected by couplings designed to allow the rods to butt against each other. All joints are flush with outer surfaces—leaving no seams to hang up in the soil. With Extensions, the Extendible Tile Probe can be used up to 40'.
