AMS Manual Gas Vapor Probe

This manual system is an excellent choice for shallow gas vapor sampling in soft soil. Constructed of all stainless steel, the hollow probe consists of a removable 1 ft. lower section with a swedged tip and port holes for gas sampling. A removable inner rod prevents soil from entering the gas entry ports. For preliminary testing, a tile probe base and a 3 ft. tile probe extension is included. For penetration and extraction in hard or frozen soil, use AMS Slide Hammer. Measures 1/2" diameter.
