Sounding Reels

Used to support, and raise or lower current meters or sediment samplers from overhead structures. Constructed of aluminum, brass, bronze and stainless steel with electric terminals for sending or receiving signals from the meter or samplers. Complete with cable and heavy duty carrying case, cable connector and depth indicator.

A-PACK SOUNDING REEL

Small size and weight. Suitable for field work. Equipped with 45 ft. of 0.084" sounding cable, digital counter and pressed sleeve connector. Weight capacity 50 lb.

A-55 SOUNDING REEL

Maximum load capacity of 75 lb. Features spring loaded ratchet stop and dial face counter designed to help position instruments at 6/10ths of the water depth.
