SWOFFER 3000-1514 Current Velocity Meter with Graduated WandThe Swoffer Model 2100 and Model 3000 are hand held, portable instruments for measuring open stream velocities in feet or meters per second. Both models feature weatherproof construction, digital display, self-calibration and a measurement range of 0.1 to 25 feet per second. Each model is sold with your choice of measurement wand, complete with 2" glass-filled nylon propeller and PVC jacketed cable that is equal to the length of the fully extended wand plus 5 ft. Accuracy for both models is ±1% of reading. The Model 2100 features a digital display with maximum/minimum velocity, three preset averaging times of 5, 20, and 90 seconds and a start/stop button for interval testing. Uses one 9V battery, included. The upgraded Model 3000 is a computer/datalogger version of the Model 2100, allowing on-site computation of stream discharges. The easy to use keypad allows you to input key information such as velocity angles, velocity averaging period and units of measurement. The computer memory stores calibration data, calculates accumulated discharge, stamps data with month, day, year & time plus allows all stored information to be downloaded via the RS-232 output. Up to 1000 "stations" can be stored in memory.
The unit is sold complete with the required download cable and software. Uses four AA bateries (included).
2100 OR 3000 METER WITH TELESCOPING WAND
For relatively shallow (3-4 ft.) water. Designed where taking flow measurements requires a long reach from the user such as in sewers, plant outfalls, canals, etc. Adjustable depth probe assists in placement of sensor when taking readings in multiple locations.
Package includes two propeller assemblies, spare propeller, carrying strap and instruction manual. Unit is shipped in two packages.
2100 OR 3000 METER WITH 6/10 DEPTH RODS
Graduated in feet and tenths for depth and velocity measuring. Designed for forest management personnel hiking to remote mountain streams, it can also be used when wading in natural streams. The operator can both measure depth and place the sensor accurately at 6 /10 of the depth from the stream surface.
Shipped in two packages.
2100 OR 3000 METER WITH COMBINATION WAND
Thick -walled 1" diameter aluminum wand for added stability. Designed for use in faster, deeper water from bridges, boats, manholes or while wading. The wand is graduated in feet and tenths for depth measuring and consists of four 3 ft. aluminum tubes that thread together for a 12 ft. overall length.
Package includes a neck strap, two propeller assemblies, spare propeller, sensor with 25 ft. cable and instruction manual. Shipped in two packages.
