Soil Probe Collects Samples Near Ground Surface

Take quick, easy samples of soil type, conditions and consistency. A simple way to sample topsoil, this AMS Stainless-Steel Soil Probe features sturdy steel tubing, corrosion-resistant 9"L cross handle and sharp, heat-treated bits. Probe is constructed of easy-to-clean stainless steel. The included cross handle can be removed so that AMS extensions and hammer attachments may be used.

Probe resists bending and twisting out of shape as it enters the ground. The bit end is swedged to 11/16" O.D. for ease of insertion into the soil. The inside of the bit is constructed so that the soil sample is easily removed from the probe tube through a clean, wide slot. Probe has a 7/8" O.D. 33"L.
