OAKTON® IR Thermometer with Laser is great for measuring moving targets, objects too hot to touch or substances that need to remain free of contaminants. One-button operation, 1/2-second response time and laser pointer make it easy to get results quickly. Hold function freezes display for seven seconds after button release to give you time to log readings. Accurate to ±3°F (2°C) above 77°F (25°C); accuracy varies below 77°F (25°C). Temperature range of 0° - 500°F (-18° to 260°C). Measure using Fahrenheit or Celsius scales. Distance-to-spot ratio of 6:1 (at a 6" distance, it measures a 1"-dia. spot). Unit measures 1-3/4"W x 7-1/4"L x 1-1/2"D. Operates on a 9V battery (sold separately) or Ni-Cd battery (included) for up to 12 hours. Optional Carrying Case attaches to your belt to keep the IR Thermometer handy.
