This hand-held measuring Scribner Tree and Log Scale Stick measures tree diameter from 10–40" by 1"-dia. classes. Help determine board foot volumes of logs on a scale of 6–31" dia. with volumes printed on stick for 8–18'L. Stick determines board foot volumes of standing trees up to 40" dbh. Can also be used to determine tree heights.
Made of hard maple, these sturdy Log Scale Sticks have figures printed in black ink for easy reading and are varnished for durability. Measure 31-1⁄2"L x 1-3⁄8"W x 5⁄16" thick. 25" reach.
