This Moisture Meter is suited for virtually any operation where moisture content of wood and other materials is critical. Can be used for softwoods, hardwoods, veneers, fiberboards and other materials.
Two sets of moisture probes penetrate at measuring depths of 3⁄16" and 7⁄16". Insertion of probes automatically switches Meter on and shows moisture content instantly on easy-to-read LED scale between 6–20%. Handy, two-position switch permits precise readings for various types of woods. Includes specification card that lists different tree species and their corresponding wood group. Rugged, high-impact construction.
Meter comes in a convenient, pocket size: 51⁄2"H x 23⁄4"W x 1"D. Operates on two 9V batteries (included), which provide approximately 3000 readings. Replacement set of 7⁄16"L probes are located inside back of Meter.
