Ben Meadows has made shipping many of your favorite products internationally a lot easier. When you see this icon international shipping icon, it means that item is eligible for export when stock is available. Other products may be permitted to ship internationally. Ben Meadows processes our export transactions in compliance with the US Export Administration Act, and other applicable U.S. laws and regulations concerning exports. Don't worry. When you're ready to order, our export team will help you!

How to Order

    • When placing your order, please make sure that you include your telephone number including country and area code. We cannot deliver international orders without a phone number.
    • If your address does not require a postal code, please type "0" or "N/A" in the postal code field.
    • If you have a preferred shipping method, please inform us of this in the comment section of the order form.
    • If you would like to receive a quotation of shipping charges BEFORE your order is processed, please make this request in the Comment section of your order form.  Unless you request a quotation, your order will be processed and shipping charges added to your order total.
    • Please make sure you designate a physical shipping address and not a P.O. box.

Shipping Options/Documentation Offered

    • Ben Meadows ships to all countries, with the exception of those restricted from trade by the United States or international sanctions.
    • If items will be exported beyond shipping address, please provide the final destination company and country of the end user of the items.
    • Ben Meadows will ship your order to a local airport, sea port, U.S. Freight Forwarder, Customs Broker or directly to your door.
    • Please note that import duties and clearance fees are always the responsibility of the buyer.
    • A commercial invoice is included with each international shipment.

Payment Options

    • Credit Cards - MasterCard, VISA, American Express or Discover are accepted. The "Bill To/Invoice" address must be the address to which your bank mails your credit card statement.
    • Prepayment - Personal check, cashier's check, wire transfers and money orders are acceptable methods of prepayment. Payment must be made in U.S. currency unless special arrangements have been made prior to payment.
    • Letter of Credit - Accepted for orders when pre-approved. Please contact Ben Meadows Company International Department at: prior to opening a letter of credit.

Important Product Information for International Customers

    • Please note that any electrical equipment listed in our catalog and on our Web site are made for 110 Volt usage. If you require 220/240 Volt, please let us know in the comment section of your order form and we will be glad to assist you with getting the proper product.
    • some of our products contain material that is considered hazardous for shipment and can, therefore, not be exported. Our International Department will contact you should you want to order any of these products and assist you with finding non-hazardous alternatives.
    • Most of our measuring equipment is produced with English measurements (feet, inches). If you prefer measuring in Metric units (meters, cm, mm), please let us know in the comment section on your order form and we will be glad to inform you of any metric versions of our products.

Can I buy your products in my own country?
We have a number of resellers in many countries around the world. These resellers are knowledgeable about your product needs and can assist you with selecting the right equipment. They also offer valuable assistance with shipping and import procedures to make sure your order is handled in the best possible way for you. Find a reseller near you. If you don't see one listed for your country or region, please contact and we will gladly assist you with your order.

How do I know that the products I have ordered will work in my country?
All products in our catalog are made for use in the United States. However, we are pleased to supply products that are made for other regions and countries, such as electrical equipment for 220V output, or measuring equipment for the metric system, or compasses calibrated for optimal accuracy in your country. Just let us know what you need, and we will be glad to assist.

What will be the final delivery cost of my product?
We will quote you a shipping charge upon request that accounts for only the actual freight cost of moving your order from our warehouse to your destination. Any customs clearance fees and local import/sales taxes are the responsibility of the buyer, and are NOT included in the shipping charge.

What kind of documentation will be sent along with the order? All international orders will be accompanied by a Commercial Invoice that states a description of the goods, the sales price, and the country of origin of the goods. If you require special documentation other than a Commercial Invoice, please contact our International Department at, and we will be happy to assist you with your request.
