Hickory Rules are Used to Determine Lumber Content of Felled Logs
All Log Rules are made of top-quality, 13⁄16"W x 5⁄16"-thick hickory. Standard scales for 8–20'L logs. Imprinted black figures and lines are covered with a polymer coating that resists wear and allows pitch and tar to be easily removed when dry. All Rules have formed 6"L walnut wedge handles and oval stainless steel heads with pre-bent points.
