Hickory Rule is Used to Determine Lumber Content of Felled Logs
Doyle Log Rule is made of top-quality, 13⁄16"W x 5⁄16" thick hickory. Standard scales for 8–20'L logs. Imprinted black figures and lines are covered with a polymer coating that resists wear and allows pitch and tar to be easily removed when dry. Rules have formed 6"L walnut wedge handles and oval stainless steel heads with pre-bent points.
