Shipping and Delivery Questions


If I place an order today, when will it ship out?

When you need it, we've got it. Most orders received before 2 p.m. CT ship that same day. Orders for in-stock products ship Monday - Friday. If you need it faster, next-day or second-day delivery is available. Just ask. See our Terms and Conditions.

When you're in a real hurry, rely on our guaranteed overnight or second-day delivery. For an additional charge, you can choose from two options:

  • Next-day air
  • Second-day air

Orders shipping via FedEx® must be made by 2 p.m. CT for next-day or second-day options.

How do you calculate shipping charges?

Shipping charges will be calculated based on the weight of your order and displayed during checkout.

Most products are shipped via Federal Express (FedEx®). Items too large or heavy for FedEx are shipped via truck. If the combined weight of your order exceeds 150 pounds, it may be more economical to ship via truck. Shipping charges will be quoted when you place your order, or in some cases, shortly thereafter via email or phone.

PLEASE NOTE: Add $2 to standard ground shipping charges for hazardous items such as fire extinguishers and flares.

Most orders received before 2 p.m. CT ship that same day. Orders received after this time will generally ship the next day. We ship Monday through Friday only. Orders received during the weekends and holidays are shipped during the next business day.

What happens if a product I order is considered hazardous?

Products considered hazardous for shipping may require Safety Data Sheets (SDS), special packaging or handling, and additional shipping charges. Call 800-241-6401 to request specific details and charges.

What happens if a product I order is damaged in shipment?

We take great care in filling, checking and packing your order. If, however, your merchandise is damaged during shipment, please note the damage on the delivery receipt call us at 800-241-6401.

What are your shipping terms?

Orders are shipped FOB Janesville, WI, or factory, at our discretion unless otherwise agreed to by Ben Meadows Company. We prepay and add shipping charges. We also ship to Canada. Please call for details on our consolidated shipments.
